Merry Beach Camp

Every Canberra Day long weekend Brindabellans migrate to the sea for a weekend of relaxation and connection with others.  This is a highlight for many and a chance to really get to know others in our church community.  It is also a fantastic event to invite friends along to.  We have a relaxed programme which you can join in with or not - it's up to you - and which can include 4WDriving, walking around the headland, a bushwalk to Pidgeon House Mountain, youth worship on the beach, kid's craft, a Saturday night time together (we have had bushdances, karaoke or trivia nights) and a movie night under the stars.  We hold a church service on the beach on the Sunday morning.  This is a favourite place for baptisms, and we have shared many special times at Merry Beach since we started this journey together in 1997.
